More tilting platforms follow along with a red Koopa and a Red Ring, where the player can collect the eight red coins, the eighth coming from a parachute, to get a power-up. After that is the checkpoint, where the player can obtain another Super Leaf.
Another ring of coins and two Paratroopas follow, then another tilting pink platform with a blue pipe above it. The first Gold Ring of the game can be found next, turning all enemies into gold so that the player can earn more coins.
Further on is a tilting pink mushroom platform with a Paratroopa above it. A Goomba and two ? Blocks follows, whereby one of them contains a Super Leaf. A ring of coins and a green Koopa Paratroopa can be seen circling about a blue platform. Near the starting area, there is a Hidden Block above a pink mushroom platform that contains a 1-Up Mushroom. The player starts on a green mushroom platform. It is also the only level in World 1 that has less than 500 seconds. It is sky-themed, and has many Mushroom Platforms, Gold Rings, Koopa Paratroopas, and Goombas. 2 World 1-4 is the fifth level of World 1 in New Super Mario Bros.
